S. Kidman – Tamworth

Vineyard Joinery was proud to deliver the custom retail joinery for the S. Kidman store in Tamworth, creating a warm and authentic space that reflects the brand’s strong Australian heritage.

The majority of the joinery was crafted from solid timber supplied to us in slab form from Sidney Kidmans’s original property in Queensland now owned by Gina Rinhart. Each piece was carefully machined, joined, glued and sanded by our team before being professionally lacquered by our spray-finishing division, KSI Route and Paint. The finished result showcases the natural character of the timber across the service counters, display units and feature wall elements throughout the store.

One of the greatest challenges was the tight two-and-a-half-week turnaround. Thanks to the skill, commitment and teamwork of our staff, the complete package was manufactured, finished and installed on schedule, delivering a distinctive and high-quality retail fit-out under demanding time constraints.
